| got another haircut...much better than last time....
however...i miss my long, wavy hair.
it's been a year since my grandma passed away. i miss her. i'm gonna visit her on my 25th birthday.

something happy:
4/4 is the Fab 4 Anniversary! Happy Anniversary Peggy, JoAnna, & Sherry!!! I love these girls so much! My bestest friends in the whole world. We're celebrating Friday night. hehe.

I've never lost a family member before...until yesterday...
My Grandma (Dad's mom) in Taiwan passed away on April 5 at 9:45 am (which was our time April 4 at 10:45 pm). My Grandpa was praying with her before they ate breakfast. She made a sound and her face turned red. She had stopped breathing, so they called the ambulance and my cousin gave her CPR. They hooked her up to the machine to help her breathe, but her heart had already given out. They all agreed to pull the plug.
Please pray for my family and relatives, especially my Grandpa. He's the one that needs the most comforting. He's not accepting it because it happened too sudden. My family is doing ok because we were all prepared two years ago when my Grandma went through major surgery. She was in ICU for months, lost a lot of weight, became really weak, and her body wasn't taking in nutrients. However, recently she's been gaining weight and getting healthier. That's why my Grandpa is in shock because she was getting better and then she just stopped breathing. At least she's not in pain anymore and she's in a better place now. I was going to visit her at the end of May...but I can't see her anymore. It's ok though, because I've been able to see her every summer for the past few years. Last summer, we threw her a big birthday party celebrating her 80th. =)

i decided to go up to austin for a day with lui and ben last minute. they really wanted mexican martinis from trudy's and i really wanted to see my dear friends. the trip there and back was alot of fun: those 2 boys were singing along to nsync and bsb songs. (i will post videos on youtube later). haha. we were there for less than 24 hours, got in at 4:30 pm and left the next day at 1:30 pm. fun stuff. here's what i did:
played some wii at ben's bro's (brian) place (mini vegas reunion!)
went to tap house to visit brian didi and met up wendy & shawn
saw jen, sam, luke, and kevin
had dinner at trudy's with wendy, lui, ben, brian, shawn, oliver, and daniel
met up with my dearest jo and ed
went back to brian's apt and played some games
karen and hannah picked me and wendy up, took us to 6th (it was mardi gras...)
had fun with my girls and boys (thanks for taking us home oliver)
hung out at jo's awesome house
lunch at thai noodle house
tap house again
saw shawn, viki, sam, and clinton
after getting back to houston, lui took me shooting... my first time ever! it was SO MUCH FUN! it was really scary at first, i didn't realize how loud it was. aiming is alot harder than it looks. i shot a glock 22c with 40 cal. lui said i did pretty well for a first timer. =) we got mango, strawberry, & watermelon ice at juicebox and went to yaf at church.
i decided to give up caffeine (which includes chocolate), baked desserts & ice cream, and hard liquor for lent. wish me luck.

| For the past few years in college, I always planned a girl's night out for Valentine's Day since we were all single...
I didn't feel like planning one for this year because the other members of the Fab 4 are all taken and I didn't really hang out with the other girls as much anymore... So, I thought of other ideas of how to spend Valentine's Day:
1. Spend it with my favorite jalapeno because he's so much fun (but he was going to be gone)
2. Go on a double date for fun with Lisa. (there are no boys...)
3. Spend it with Lisa, babysitting Jacob, the cutest Valentine anyone could ask for (he went to dinner with his family)
I couldn't figure out what to do since all my ideas were shot down. I thought this year's Valentine's Day was really gonna suck. Until......
......Ellie saved the day! She emailed the girls asking if we all wanted to get together Wednesday night for happy hour. We all agreed. I was SO EXCITED for a girl's night out! Yay!
Why 2/14/07 was one of the best Valentine's Day ever:
1. Family friend dropped by with gifts.
2. An officer friend dropped by with gifts. (I got ferrero rocher chocolates and mace. Awesomest gift ever!)
3. Dropped by a family friend's workplace to hand out heart-shaped cookies.
4. Bought 15 red heart shaped balloons for the Valentine's party on Friday with my mom (So pretty!)
5. Gave my Grandma a "I Love You" balloon.
6. Went to dinner at Zake with my girls: Peggy, Lisa, Ellie, Shannon, Shelley and Mari
7. Hung out at Teahouse with Peggy, Shelley, Mari, and Lui (We got a free milk tea because Lui was in uniform)
8. My sister and I got a self-defense lesson.
9. Played Wii!
10. Looked at old pictures from freshman year and laughed alot
